JUST ENOUGH LIGHT FOR THE STEP I'M ON

As you can see boxes are everywhere. The other night as Bill and I were getting ready to go to bed I told him I need to leave the fan light on in the kitchen so I can see the way to the bathroom at night. I got up in the middle of the night and there was my path to the bathroom. I said out loud thank you Lord. It's just enough light to find my way. A smile came on my face. A couple of nights earlier I turned on the hall light and it blinded me. I couldn't see the path. The light was to bright. Then there's been nights with no light was on at all and I stumbled and bumped into the boxes. I am a visual learner and how this experience spoke to me was when there is too much light I'm blinded. I can't focus. When there is no light I stumble and fall. But when there's just enough light God provides all my needs. Just follow God and he will provide the light for the step you're on.
Love,
Renee'

Boxes & Boxes

Our apartment is 900 sq. ft. and we have boxes in every corner. We have counted the boxes that we fit in the truck and Renee has room for 28. She is really trying to cut down on what we are going to take with us but it's a big job. I have been on the computer daily completing the new travel (Mexico) Insurance and getting the new on line banking set up. We just loaded our first lesson of Spanish( Rosetta Stone) it should be fun as what I think I hear is not what Renee' thinks she hears. This is going to be fun!!!

One Step at A Time

We are taking the next step in our walk with God. Renee' and I are busy packing boxes and trying to cut down (for the second time) all the stuff we packed from the house. Our prayer each
day is that we are relying on God's plan not ours. We are trying to have everything together by the 10 of Sept. so we can hit the road and start the adventure of a 6 week road trip. We are going to visit family and friends on our way to Mexico and hope to cross the border the middle of Oct. We are going to try and keep this Blog updated along the way so everyone knows where we are. Both Renee' and I ask that you keep us in your prayers for safe travel and opportunities to share God along this wonderful path.

Matthew 7:13
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
