Tulum Mission House Work

New filter cover done, painting done, gate done,

and now it's pool time. We have had a great week

of mission work, small group, and play time. If it

was not for the weather we could have done a little more painting but that is OK. We have more work to do and could use you on your next trip to Mexico. Why not come down for a little R&R and mission work with us!!!!! Looking forward to the next team and seeing how God is going to use us.

Tyler Mission Team

Chuck and Karla Tyler from Anchorage are here with us this week. We have been having just a great time with them. Working hard and playing just a little. Renee' and Karla cleaned 4 of the pump houses which if it does not rain we will paint them Tuesday. Chuck and I put a material list on papter for the filter cover we need to build and stain. We worked on the mission house cleaning windows, worked on the kitchen sink, painted around the outside deck and got a list of work Pastor Terry needs done. We will have a full day Tuesday and small group on Wed.

We are so happy to have Chuck and Karla here they are a true blessing to us. We do have a little shopping to get done so we think we will go into town Tuesday night. We hope to see you on mission with us here in Tulum!!!!!

What a Show!!!!!

Wow, it came in about 5:30pm we could see it coming as we where sitting at the pool talking.
The sky was getting darker the air was cool with the wind seeming to be picking up. It was
time to move, YES, we where going to have a good old fashion storm.
We moved back to the house and then lighting started, what a show. You would hear the thunder then see the lighting. It did not rain right away it waited but when it started it came
down. We turned the lights off and set out side under the porch and watch.
With not having any hills here you can see the storms moving in and watch as they travel
from the ocean side to the gulf side. It is really something to see.
We stayed dry and the sky is blue this morning!!!!

Monday in Cancun

We had a full day getting the new tag for the Truck another 180 Days and shopping at Costco with Terry and Debbie. We had a blast!!!!! I am so glad we live in Tulum and not Cancun as the
traffic there is out of site. Now if you can just find room in the condo for all the food????
I think we are going to go put our feet in the pool for awhile and rest...

New Mission Team Outside Table

Are we happy when we where in Florida our outside table and chairs where delivered to the

condo. We eat dinner last night and breakfast the

next morning outside. We are very happy with the workmanship and the chairs are great. They can fold up so we can store them if we need to.

Now we can feed a team without people sitting on the steps or the floor.

We had a wonderful day at church with 29 people and we almost ran out of food. We will bring extra next week.

Renee' and I are looking forward to Chuck and Karla Tyler from Anchorage coming in Friday for a week of mission work and just relaxing. We have set up a few projects at the mission house and around the grounds. It is going to be great being with our old friends again. We are counting the days!!!!!

We are moving ahead with our work at Victory Outreach (Addiction Center for Men) we delivered more material for them today. We have a group in the Church that has taken hold of this mission and wants to build a water tower, dinning hall roof, and a cooking station. It is great to see how God is working in our Church. People are connecting and wanting to use their Time, Talents, Treasures, and their Testimony for building God's church here in Tulum. We will see where God is working and join Him!!!!!!

Back Home in Mexico

We are back in Mexico returning from a 9 day trip to Florida to see Renee's Brother and Dad in
Daytona. Great trip and we got alot done, eating out, shopping, and just being with family. It was nice to be back in the U.S.A. and in the land of familiar for awhile. But it's also nice to be back in the condo and with our family here.
We are spending the day unpacking (4 bags) and putting things away. Did not have any trouble with bring back all the stuff and we had alot of stuff!!!!

Wow What A Day!!!

What a wonderful day of fellowship and a sweet time of worship. We had 55 people in church with many new faces. After church we had a lunch at the Hill's and 3 Baptism in the pool. It does not get any better than that!!!! We have good weather for the hole day (91F @ 4:30PM) with a nice wind. I think it's time for a little rest and put my feet up. To God the glory for this is his day.
