How are we Blessed

We have been praying over the last week about our housing here in Mexico. Our lease is going to be up in Dec. and wanted to talk with our landlords about staying another year. During our conversation we where told that our rent would have to go up if we stayed. Being on a budget and trying to be good stewards of God's money we really did not know what to do. We know we are working for God and He has placed us here in Tulum for a reason. We did not feel God was telling us to move and trusting in His provision we prayed and asked for wisdom in dealing with our landlord. There has been several emails and phone calls and today we got our NEW LEASE
for 2011 (rent is a little higher) with a provision we can stay in 2012 if we need to.....God is Good!!
So we have the room and want to invite you to come down and experince the Mission Field with us. There is nothing like a little R & R and a little mission work to show the love of Jesus to others. Just drop us a note and we will put your Vacation With A Purpose on the calendar....

Septiembre Mission 2010

We had a wonderful time with this team as they took time to relax and explore Mexico and Mission work. We had two small groups at our home with the team for dinner and fellowship.
We had time to set down with the team and talk about our Mission work and plans for working in Tulum, and Ek Balam.
As with any team that come down we love them and miss them when they leave. This was a sweet time of getting to know new people and seeing how God is working in there lives.
We would like to see you and your family here for some R&R with a little mission work. Vacation with a Purpose will fill that need and we look forward to seeing you here in Mexico.

Back Home in Tulum

Just got back from a three day R&R trip to Cancun with the Hill's. We stayed at the Sea Adventure Resort and Water Park... Renee' and I stayed most of our time at the pool. Did get to see the Lion King Play only about an hour and it was fun to see it in Mexico. All in All it was a good time of just R&R. We dropped the mission team off Tuesday at the airport and then went to the Resort. We had a good time with Dallas, Becca, Chris and Kristina and looking forward to seeing them again in the mission field here in Mexico.
Both Debbie and Renee' came down with a bug the last day so we cut our stay a little short so the girls could get some rest at home. Looking forward to small group sat. night, church on Sunday and the start of a new week rested and ready to see how God will use us...

Mission Team and Birthday Big 60!

Wow, we have two couples from the states this week here resting and catching the vision we have for Lighthouse Church. Last night we had two of the small groups at our home for dinner and a birthday party for Debbie. It was a great time of fellowship and just having fun.

Timber has his buddy back and really wants to go swimming with them!!!!!! No, No Timber not in the pool!!!!!!

New Water Tank Stand

This is the new stand build by the men at the rehab center. They did a great job and we hope to have another water tank for them this week. Several of us from Lighthouse Church del. more toothbrushes and toothpaste today after church. Everyone there was happy to see us and we had a wonderful time just talking with them.

Getting Ready

Renee' and I went for our first bike ride yesterday after getting all the tires fixed the peddel
on my bike broke so we have to replace it. Not sure but I sort of feel like some hit me as I am
moving a little slow this morning... Could it be that since I have not got on a bike in over a year
my body is telling me to STOP? We will see!!!!
Today is Sat. and we are getting ready to have a Mission Team here this week from the states. We have to get the room together and go to the store, we have a meeting in Playa Mon. for our
FM3's and then drive to the airport Tues. to pick up the team (2 couples) then back to Tulum.
It's going to be a fun week as we show them our Tulum and church on Sunday.

Over the Top Church Sunday!!!!

Wow, God is at work in Tulum and we are working to show the love of Jesus to the people of Lighthouse Church and the community of Tulum. We had 61 thats right 61 in church on and that is with several people gone that would be in church. God is planting His church!!!!!
As you can see we are going to have to get the parking under control. We can move some of the cars to the back of the building and give the new people the front parking.
After chuch we had 3 people baptized at the beach then had a big party with food and soda for all. There where over 30 people at the beach and we had just a wonderful time.
Lighthouse Church also started to collect items for the Men's Mission here in Tulum this week was beans and rice. The picture is just a part of what God's people gave for this important outreach. We will be collecting material all month and then we deliver it to the Mission. It is a
great time to see just how God is working here in Tulum.
Renee' and I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support of our Ministry here in Mexico and we are humbled each and every day.

New Watch Dog!!!!

Wow, we have our Watch Dog!!!!! He is the best as he likes to stay in one place, and is always on his post. I would take him for a walk but he likes to sit and just keep his eye's open. We feel very safe with him at the gate!!!!!!
